Hi Group, Can damage be done to the stepper drivers if you manually turn the stepper motor shafts manually? Should I disconnect the motor wires before turning the motor by hand? Thanks in advance, pat  |

| Well darn...if the drivers are powered up and you can overcome the holding torque...then it's just like missing steps...shouldn't hurt anything...if they are powered down nothing should happen at all.....so, why do you want to turn the motor by hand? |
