Hi there I am adding new stepper motors to a laser cutter and have a 3.5 amp control board. If I run 12v 0.4 amp steppers at 24 volts does that mean that they will be pulling 0.8 amp of current? I am looking at 2.8v 1.6 amp steppers, but I am assuming if I run them at 12v the resulting current will be too much for the board I have? 3 Axis Stepper CNC Motor Driver Board Controller TB6560 If anyone can recommend the best motors to use in this board running at 24v or 12v I would be grateful. It is a laser cutter so the torque is reasonably low. I am looking at nema 17 size motors ideally but all the different options for these motors are confusing me
