    Newbie to Steppers

    I need some help...

I would like to build a machine to do woodwork only... mainly signs and the such...

What size motors do I need to be looking for... I am sure bigger is better in some instances but I am also looking for something that is a little more cost efficient...

I am sure I am leaving out some valuable information to aide in your suggestions but I am still green here, so send a reply and I will update you wherever I can.

(woods consists of any domestics and some exoctics as well...)

    Thanks
    JA

I use the 269 oz-in and they work very well. Small than that and you can lose steps when cutting wood unless you go real, real, slow.
