Hi, I am in the process of building a mdf router. I acquired a set of Powermax II stepper motors from a friend and needed a controller for them. I did some research and compared specs and settled on the probotix 3 axis bipolar driver kit. I placed an order earlier this week but have not heard anything from them since then. They state that most orders go out within 24 to 48 hours. I paid by credit card through their website but when I go to check the status of the order it just says processing with no other updates. I tried e-mailing them but they haven't replied. Most of the reviews I found on this forum were at least a year old but they all stated that it was very fast shipping and good customer service. It looks like a great product for a good price but I am starting to get concerned that maybe they went out of business and just have a defunct website. Has anybody placed an order from them and successfully had it filled lately? Keith |

| I placed an order just before Christmas and it was shipped within four days. That was for a completely configured V90 setup, including controller. Frankly, given the delay warning on their web site, I was amazed it shipped so fast. I noted that someone else had the same experience at the same time. Did you order the driver kit assembled? There is a document on the web site that states it can add 3-5 (I think - bad memory) days to the order. It seems they sometimes have pre-assembled kits, but it might depend on the specifics of your order. I'd try emailing again, but if that doesn't work another channel might be to contact Len through the V90 forum. He was there yesterday, and is usually there at least once a day. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Fireballcnc/messages |

| The kit was not the fully assembled one. It was just the kit components (3 drive boards, the breakout board, power supply, and cables). I ordered it on Wednesday Morning. Hopefully I will hear something back from them by Monday. If not I will try calling. Good to know that someone else recently made a purchase with no problems. That tells me there isn't a problem with the company and it is probably either just a delay for some reason or a problem with the way the order was processed online. Keith |
