Newbie- Brute Force

Ive built a dsPIC30f3013 control board, with 2 multiplexers for the 12 pins for 3 unipolar motors, and 4 debug leds. This drives the 3 motors.

I also have the 10 pin for LPT communication.

I dont want to spend forever writing the rules for the PIC at the moment. I am only driving 3 5v 500ma Unipolar motors.

So i built ( According to this guide ) Brute Force Stepper Driver 1.3 - Make Your Bot!

Now, i followed it to the letter, and everything is plugged in without frying anything

Now, i downloaded the zip file for the EMC2 Program. but it wont load it just crashes. - Print file information: RUN_IN_PLACE=no EMC2_DIR - Alex Eastabrook Bug log.


Can anyone lend a hand / fix bug ?

I built a board to handle it.

Just call me Jeebus, and I resurrect this thread.

I tried loading the zip for brute force and it would crash what fixed it was deleting the emc.nml line in the .ini file.

have you been able to test the brute force stepper?

look at line 35 on your pastebin you loaded that line is pretty much the error.
