Requesting Opinion on Lin Engineering Stepper Motors

After losing a once in a life time bid on ebay for some 200 oz-in Pac-Sci stepper motors :frown:, (in Australia) I turned to local retailers and suppliers. I found these:

I was looking at getting three of the 5718M-05 motors, 130 oz-in 2A per phase, 6 wire. And using the 3 Axis drives from HobbyCNC.

3 Motors will set me back about $130 AUD ($97 USD)

What do you guys think? They seem reasonable? I have worked with steppers before but only in robotics, I need to now if these will do the job of a medium precision CNC router and if they seem compatable with the drives. I am basing my design on jgro's CNC plans.

By the way those stepper motors on ebay went for about $95 USD each, I quit at about $40. He must of wanted them bad!

Not bought anything off them, but they're a massive international company, and the price for 276's aren't bad at all.

Send Chan an email and see what specials he's got, freight to Australia is quite resonable and he uses Express so it get here in a few days.
