Stepper repair advice needed | | Hi all , im looking for some advice on where i might send a bad stepper to to get it repaired and any information about this particular stepper you might have, im restoring an old Emco F1P mill and M1tronic control and have it running with a replacement later model square body nema23 size berger lahr 5 phase motor, model vdrm564/50 LNB,seems to work fine but im sure there might be some differences, same coil resistances of 1.9 .Im still fighting with some control parameters to get things right, reference numbers, stepper resolution, feed resolution etc and an alarm 150 axis sync when trying to run a few lines of code. The original motor which i want to have repaired is a nema23 smooth round body berger lahr model 99C0015V1-564 and it has a low coil, around .8, also had a blown stepper board which has been replaced.I've looked around the web and found a few places that do repair steppers and im looking for an informed reccomendation before sending it out, cost for a rewind etc. Also would love to know what the berger lahr designations stand for ,VDRM and the LNB,LNA etc.thanks for any information you can help me with,Kevin
i've included some pics of the stepper type in question, these are another members photos as mine had no part numbers, smoregrava, whose web site on the F1P has really been a BIG help in restoring this machine. |
