    3 Steppers?

    I have 3 steppers

    (2) 1200Oz. in - 6.0Amps DC per phase (2 phase)
    (1) 270Oz. in - 2.8Amps DC per phase (1 phase)

I'm having 70.7VDC running through, do i need any type of resistor on the small motor?

What drives are you using, and what are the motors' rated voltages?

    270Oz in. ( 3.75 rated Voltage)

    1200Oz in. ( 2.7 rated Voltage )

    I'm using Gecko Drives G201.

I got all the motors from Homeshopcnc: http://www.homeshopcnc.com/page3.html

No, but use the proper current limit resistor on each Gecko.

The 1200 oz motor might get pretty hot due to the higher voltage. It really should have about 60V max.
