ebay TB6560 PCB scan

Here are two merged photos of the ebay TB6560 driver board.

The attachment contains a .xcf file which can be read by Gimp - a free image editing program.

Within Gimp under Windows>Dockable Dialogs>Layers there is a
slider for opacity. Adjusting this, will show both the front and reverse
sides of the driver board.

Well I couldn't get the zip file to load, so here are the two separate images.
If you know how to use Gimp, flipping between layers with the opacity slider is pretty cool.

Enjoy

There were some solder balls still stuck to the board so beware.

Pay attention to the heatsink - around the self tapping screws you may find some shards of alloy ready to fall off.

Also in bot.jpg, note pins 25 and 23 of the TB devices - pin 25 extends out to cover the trace leaving pin 23. Use side snips and trim that component leg back.

Buy me a Beer?

The pictures are very useful, thanks for posting them.

I'm still considering getting one of the boards - but I haven't decided which vendor to get them from (or which bundle to get - some of the boards support 3 axes like yours, while others support 4 axes, some come with power supply while others do not, some vendors bundle 175 oz. inch steppers, while others have 270 oz. inch, etc.).

I would like to get steppers with dual shafts, however, and I haven't found any of the eBay vendors selling those bundled with the board, and so I may just buy the board by itself and get the steppers from someone such as Keling...

Glad you find the pics of use, though I'd be very wary using this 3-axis controller (and its relatives) until a series of fixes are developed.

After 2 days of reversing engineering the schematic, the causes are becoming clearer why some users have reported failures.

I hope to report back with some improvements to patch this design.

Wow! had no idea that existed. I'll add some new comments to that thread.
