Hello All: My stepper driver only has six connections per axis. I want to install an eight wire stepper. Do I wire the stepper unipolar? Thanks JP

http://www.piclist.com/techref/io/stepper/wires.htm has all the information on how motors are wired. For your motor, one wire from each of two coils forms one common and one wire from each of the other two coils forms another common which results in the same wiring as a 6 wire motor. See the picture of the 6 wire motor on the web page.
