Hi everyone, Im looking to order some motors and drivers through a company I found via the Mechmate website. The company is called Deitech - Driver Motor They have a large range of motors available but Im not quite sure on the way they are rated. Im looking for a JGRO setup, around 300oz motors (equivalent to the the HobbyCNC ones) http://www.driver-motor.com/ProductContent.aspx?ID=46 Are any of the motors here around that strength? How do I work it out? The Driver I am looking at handles 50v, so I would like to get a motor to suit about a 48VDC power supply. Im also looking at their drivers: http://www.driver-motor.com/ProductContent.aspx?ID=50 4.2A Max 50VDC - Is this the right driver or should I be looking at another one of their models? They are based off the Leadshine models. Thanks for all your help, John |

| http://www.unitconversion.org/index.html http://www.engineersedge.com/ Both have many unit to unit converters. http://www.kelinginc.net/index.html I found to be a good source for servos, power supplies, controllers, etc. I'm sure there are many others. I had been playing with steppers for a while before using servos to build our machine. The servos have been very good compared to steppers. A bit more $$ but worth it. |
