| Hello All: Putting together a small project where i need to drive a Cole Palmer L/S 35 peristaltic pump head. According to the specs it needs roughly 60-80 oz-in of starting torque for the particular tubing I am using. This seems to be close to the max torque the PowerMax II can produce, according to their torque chart. What is the best way to maximize the torque of this stepper. Bipolar with the windings in series.? Voltage? The max the motor will need to spin is around 10rpm. Full step, half or microstep? I am using a Rodez RD-021MB driver Any suggestions.? Thanks all -=Bryan=- Last edited by Bryanpl; 07-15-2010 at 03:31 AM. |
