Smile A2918SW circuit

Hello eveyone
first I would like to thank you all for the help you are giving and the support

now my problem is
I have a broken copier machine so I thought to get the motors and drivers from it

the driver board that used in the machine is using the A2918SW drive IC

I want to know how can I take this a part and use it to control the stepper motor from the parallel port of my pc
I am using mach3 for controlling

as I know the 2-9 data can be used in the port but where it should go on the IC?? to what pins?

what is the voltage to operate the IC and if there is a circuit diagram to the IC? not the internal diagram but the full opreating diagram.

please help me on that.
thank you all in advance

Hello dude.
I just find in the same situation since last month i gott the same printer machine and the same board.
Wait a week and i will try to figure it out.
Should be not to dificult to use it.
You are planing to use the motor wich came pluged to the board?
I didnt like it too mach. May be i will look to set up for more powerfull motors.
The schematic of a2918 suggest a peak current of 1.5 amps, and that should be enough for good torke results.
Chears.
See you next week.
