    Servo motor witch TA8435H Driver

Im new here and i want to post my first topic.

I hope someone can help me.

    What i have:

    1x TA8435H Driver see pic
3 x stepping motor see pic (6 wires)
    1 x 24 V 5A power supply
    1 x lpt cable

My problem is that it wont work.

I wired my stepping motor but they wont turn???

I tried several wire options. But wont work?

My board is a bit different than yours. I have LEDs that show when pulses are coming from the LPT. Do you have that?

I think the first thing to check is whether the LPT is sending the pulses or not...

Your motor connections look good, as the black and white cables are for use in unipolar configuration only, and that is not the case for your board. So you are good using the sequence color sequence Green-W/Green- Red-W/Rred.

So I would first make sure the direction and pulse lines are doing what they should.

Somethings just came to my mind. Could it be that you swapped the direction/pulse signals when configuring your software?
    What software are you using?

    Mine also got leds.

    the wire's are connected Red-W/Rred- Green-W/Green

So i changed to youre wire setup. The driveshaft is now blocked. In my first wire setup (Red-W/Rred- Green-W/Green) i could turn the drive shaft by hand when its connected to the board.

    Is that ok??

In Mach3 you MUST configure what pin of the LPT does what. Do you mean you did not configure that? Each board has a different assignment for the pins, so you have to tell Mach3 how that is.

I tried many different pin setups for the board but it won't work.

I downloaded the new version mach3.

Maybe the problem is that in the installation off mach3 the LPT port is not found??

I followed the whole manual of mach3. rightclick on the mach3.exe file and let it work in windows XP and then do the driver test. Won't work either.

About the pin config. How do i know what numbers i have to change?

    Gr Erik
