Hello Gentlemen, This is my first post. I'm based in Australia and have been lurking here reading for quite a few years, yes lurking. Now, I have been reading some informative posts from CreviceReamer (in a thread about converting a 12x36 lathe,) I believe is his ID about using G540 geckos with some 381oz/in stepper N23 from Keling and it is making sense that efficiency is what to look for. I am in the process of acquiring what I need to convert a 280mm x 750mm or 11x30" lathe to CNC. Any how I was impressed with the "microstep to fullstep morphing" that the geckos do, to speed up rapids, so in my searching endeavours I came across the following drives that talk about subdivision steps, it seems to be saying that you can set them to a different setting to the main microstepping. I am hoping if anyone could have a look at these drives and give me your opinion on whether they are talking about fullstep morphing but using a different way to describe it. The Website here. I hope someone has some time. Regards,
