I just bought this board: http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-4-Axis-TB656...item2c53c80e16 and I can't get the steppers to move.
More info. I am using this power supply with voltage decreased to 28V: http://www.kelinginc.net/KL-350-36.pdf and these steppers: http://www.kelinginc.net/KL23H276-28-4B.pdf
By manipulating the dips, I have tried all current settings, decay settings and microstep settings. The motors do not ever lock when only power (no parallel port) is applied. However, the board does show solid on activity LEDs at boot up of the PC. When using Mach3 and running GCode, I see quickly blinking activity on all four activity LEDs and they correspond to the axis that is moving so it seems like at least the ports are configured correctly in Mach3. I have Mach3 configured as described in this manual: http://www.savebase.com/infobase/dow...xis_Driver.doc
Pictures of wiring attached. Did I get a bad board? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: Never mind. Turns out the ground connector on the board had a crappy solder blob. I re-soldered it and everything started working.
Thanks,
Drak
