Hello All, My first real post here and I start off with a question. I have a lathe that I recently bought that has a Bandit control. I was told that the drives for the steppers were not working so I am looking for drivers for the X and Y motors. The Y axis has a Slo-Syn stepper that requires 2.1V at 9.2A http://web.me.com/c.d.s/saimp/in_garage.html#26 The X axis has a Sigma motor that has its identification worn off! There is a trimstep on the end of this motor, not sure if its a resolver or encoder. http://web.me.com/c.d.s/saimp/in_garage.html#27 I am wondering if there are any drives out there that can take the 9.2A without damage. I know that leadshine makes an 8.3A drive and the gecko's are rated at 7A, and this seems not enough. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Carl |
