Clicks one way moves the other

So my stepper motor just stoped moving one way and just make clicking sound but moves the other way fine. Is it dead?

I removed the stepper this moring to find the contector in two parts replaced and back up

Its not unusual for eratic motion as you describe if only one of the two windings is driven - you'll find the
available torque was much less even tough it moved in one direction.

I dont know what was up with this stepper motor it snaped all the contectors i put on it till i put a soild one on
