    Hello

    I have a homemade machine with usable area 400x170x100 mm made of Al with 3 Vexta C7163-9212K motors rewound to 1.2 ohm and 3.2mH. The wire is 0.8mm (not sure anymore, can be 1mm)
    The machine is running with 6560 red board at 24V/20A
    at 500mm/min motor settings all is fine but overall is too slow

    The current dip SW are on 100%
    I tried different decay settings with best results at 50% fast decay.

    the axes are moving at 1500mm/min and 50mm/sec acceleration but sometimes during acceleration or middle of a straight run they stall.

    I need the highest possible speed for cutting paper and vinyl. I am cutting Al and plastics at 100-200mm/min without problems at all.

    What will be the max speed for 1.2 ohm and 3.2mH motor (similar to Vexta PK266-03A Nema23)?

    MACH3 and board settings from similar setup are very welcome.

    The problem you have is not so much the motor as the driver. The TB6560 driver works well at the lower speeds as your Ali machining testifies, but to get higher speed you probably need a higher voltage. Machines I've overhauled that are using the '24V' solutions for CNC perform considerably better when driven by a '48V' driver setup. While the TB6560 driver is rated up to 36V, you need a little headroom, and while a 30V supply will give a little more 'umph' it's not going to do much better than you are currently seeing.
    As you say "I am cutting Al and plastics at 100-200mm/min without problems at all." and this setup is really happy at those speeds. Changing motors may give a little better performance, but to double the speed you probably need to change the drivers for higher voltage ones.
