Default Ebay Dm556 or massminds 6064 drivers?

What would be your choice? The price would be about the same incl shipping and driver board. I don't mind the massmind drivers beeing a kit. Just looking for best performance. Other options in this price range?

I have a pair of the Massmind drivers on my lathe that I am very happy with. James is also great with support.

    Thanks hp!

Yes, I've read the support should be great with those.

Now I'm also considering the Gecko G540. Might be worth it since it seems so simple and with the BOB included and is 4 axis.

Would it be correct to assume a motor rated 4.2A/282oz-in (2.2mH) driven with 3.5A would have 235oz-in of torque?
    And then a 5A/570oz-in (2.5mH) with the same 3.5A would have 399oz-in?

Offer: buy a dm556 and one of my 6064's and do a video side by side test where you move under load with the most aggressive settings possible and I will refund the price of my kit. Win or lose. Then you can buy more of which ever one works best.

    Sorry for not answering this.
Thanks to you both for the input.
I did actually buy the Gecko G540 in the end... One important factor was that I saved on shipping (combined a lot of things).

Maybe next time James. Your servo drives do also look interesting!

Btw. I agree that ebay-drivers is risky business. I guess you never know what you get.
