Any breakount board will work, even one of these cheap ones. All 4 motors drives connect to it.

Just plug the cable into port 2 or 3 on the UC300 motherboard. Here's how to wire it.

The parallel connection plugs into the UC300 motherboard.

Yes and no. Yes, this is the way to connect it but no, not the right port. Connect it to the next one, which is port 2.

I'm running a UC300eth with the same BOB. Gecko320x with minertia servo motors on the Y and Z axis. Dual Gecko202 and 280oz-in steppers on the X axis. No problems.

The manual explains exactly how to do it. http://cncdrive.com/MC/UC300ETH%20da...ETH_manual.pdf
    Don't use the router.
Set up the network as shown on pages 8 and 9 in the manual, and plug the UC300 directly into the PC. If you start UCCNC and don't get a blue light, then you may need a crossover cable.

I added a second network card to my PC, and plug the UC300 directly into that.

Works just fine through a router as well but you need to know how to set it up since the manual is not that well written. It is overcomplicating it in my opinion.

Start with a factory reset and see if the utility software recognise the UC300ETH. I think you should follow the instructions in the manual. Every word of it. You must be familiar with setting up network connections otherwise it will be difficult. I have very little time to assist you step by step. If you are not familiar with LAN configuration it will be too difficult for me to assist you. Try to find someone who speaks Italian. The UC300ETH is pretty easy to set up but you must have some basic knowledge to start with and I don't have the time to give you that. Sorry.

Please read the manual. Page 6 seems to explain the situation and what to do:

Please note that the network on the above printsceen is already renamed to UC300ETH. By default the network will have a name localconnection or similar. To rename the connection click the change adapter settings on the left side of the window.

    Hello Gerry and A_Camera,

5-Axis CNC Interface Adapter Breakout Board For Stepper Motor Driver Mach3 USB | eBay

I read on their manual, it works only with windows XP, it doesn't work with windows 7 64 bits. Which MS Windows run your system CNC BOB with ? If using ethernet cable on UCC300ETH, since the notebook maybe too far from the BOB, can we use external switching PS 5VDC connect to BOB's USB ?

    Hi Walkit,
I purchase Wantai with the same BOB as you show it #17, but I plan to purchase also 5-Axis CNC Interface Adapter Breakout Board For Stepper Motor Driver Mach3 USB | eBay. Since it is cheap and it works as people said here.

I don't know that BOB and don't know why there are two separate +5V and GND on the right side. Normally the inputs have opto isolators and those are driven with a separate supply between +12V and +24V. The UC300ETH and the BOB can share the same +5V but yes, both must be connected to +5V, however, I would not share the same +5V with the inputs since the opto isolators lose their purpose in that case.
