I'm imagining a build where I need up to 4 stepper motors for linear control, up to 4 relays for AC motor control, and 4+ relays to control miscellaneous functions (i.e. air solenoids), and I want to control this all with a pc. Any input on drives that may have the required number of axes control and relay control? Any input on pc software that would allow me to do this? Thanks, folks.
You should have a look at the usb cnc controler from planet. These can control up to 9 stepper motors. But as far as I know, have only 7 digital outputs for relays. Still, have a look at it and make your mind. Rgds, Toin.
