As a world famous platform, alibaba.com should have taken the responsibility of protecting IPR, rather than applying infringement or taking the advantage of legal loophole for pleasing suppliers in alibaba or improving traffic data. Alibaba.com even encourages its members to use popular but illegal keywords. To be frank, "SteelTailor" is such a popular keyword.

Alibaba Suppliers Abused SteelTailor Brand



Since 2012, SteelTailor completely quited its 6-year gold membership in Alibaba. Soon after, many products, especially cutting and welding machines were described with SteelTailor as name of these products.

What they do can increase traffic and attract customers in Alibaba, but it is a misleading, or seriously deception. Customers who trust SteelTailor brand will be fooled and purchase faked cutting machines. SteelTailor can not allow this indecent behavior in Alibaba to hurt interests of customers.

Alibaba platform is now mixed up with good and poor products. Some suppliers cared nothing about business moral, but used SteelTailor brand to describe their products in Alibaba. But Alibaba let these terrible things happen among suppliers in Alibaba platform, misleading more suppliers use SteelTailor brand recklessly. SteelTailor distributors and users have been harmed largely, and cause low qualified products make profits in market.

Whatever Alibaba suppliers respond to complaint from SteelTailor, SteelTailor will never allow this indecent business behavior hurt interests of customers any more.

Why SteelTailor Quited Gold Membership from Alibaba?


SteelTailor quited its 6-year gold membership from Alibaba in 2012. This logout of SteelTailor is not a groundless behavior.
Two platforms of Alibaba.com and aliexpress.com have the overlapped functions, which caused damages to suppliers in these platforms eventually. SteelTailor had to be determined to leave Alibaba.
Alibaba seems indifferent with management of suppliers, indulging its members copy some popular products in Alibaba, even at the cost of infringement of IPR. SteelTailor always take “customer-oriented” as priority and focus on product quality. That’s why SteelTailor cannot cooperate with Alibaba any more. When SteelTailor left Alibaba, many other products were advertised with SteelTailor brand in Alibaba. When similar products largely sweep in Alibaba, the result is vicious competition in the market, price will be lowered but product quality can not be guaranteed. It is shame for Alibaba to tolerate infringement behavior in Alibaba.com and largely do harm to customers’ interests.
SteelTailor sincerely hope the orderly competition in market, expecting Alibaba recruit suppliers who can provide high-qualified products for customers.
