Nice - if you start back up let me know. We do gift sets for most of the cities that surround us, the pens are always a great hit.

Ever try Corian? I routinely dice up 3 x 6 sheets of Corian and throw away scraps under 1 x 1. No bigge for me to tie a ribbon around some of it and put it in the mail.

    Laff Riot,
No I have never tried corian. If you have some extra stock let me know I'll buy some off you to try.
Some of my pens were made from a bowling ball. I cut it up on my band saw into blanks. Hard on a blade! But the pen come out great and polish up real nice. They should last forever! Think of the abuse a bowling ball takes!
I plan on doing some more pens maybe this winter. they are great Xmas gifts..

No worries - just give me an address and Ill throw some your way. You can also get the same size scraps from any cabinet maker in your area that manufactures Corian or Wilsonart countertops.

One neat thing about Corian that most people do not know - it is a self extinguishing thermo plastic. So you can heat bend it.
    Make for some wicked designs.
