A bit late in reply - just joined the forum!
Have a look at the engines offered by Miniature Steam Pty Ltd - a Melbourne based company. Their current engines were designed to metric dimensions but include nearest imperial dimensions as well. The casting kits come with a full set of drawings and instructions to make a complete engine.
