Job Zone Function in Sprut 2007 Can someone please explain the Job Zone assignment function in Sprut 2007? I've spent the better part of today trying to learn how to work with it, and I've gotten absolutely nowhere. I've tried every possible combination of properties, and it simply ignores me. Nothing I've tried makes the slightest difference in how the simulation runs. Does Job Zone only work with certain types of machining operation? I'm trying to use it with a waterline roughing operation. I've also tried it with 2D contouring and plane roughing. I'm sure there's trick, but darned if I can find it. Any pointers appreciated.

You just have to select the "curves" that create the fence for a Job Zone. ...saying this, you need curves - when you're importing a part use Project to create curves (this doesn't work with small parts - doesn't pickup small features). Use Sew for creating edges that can be selected for tool path creation. ...another thought, try changing the filters on the top tool bar for picking different features.

Aha! The Projecting of the part faces into curves was the missing piece. Thanks!
