| Importing modified part: re-assignment needed? Can I import a modified part into an existing project in a way that will cause SC to calculate a revised toolpath to follow a new curve in the modified part? I have tried to do this but it seems that I have to cancel the existing curve assignments and make new assignments. This seems logical but I wonder if there is a way to have SC automatically accommodate modified parts, as can some of the CAD programs with integrated CAM. Also, I noted that when I imported the modified part, it became tagged to the original part. How do I delete the original part? |
