I have yet another dumb question for the Sprutcam gods.. I have added a Roughing Waterline operation with a 3-Flute rougher as the first machining process in my project, and set the Axial/Radial "Stock" parameter to .035" to provide for a finish pass. A Finishing Combine operation immediately follows with a 1/2" finish tool, with the "Stock" parameter set to 0". After reviewing the simulation, the roughing operation continues to the part Z finish height of -.125" (after 3 passes), and does not provide stock for the finish pass. The Finish Combine pass toolpath also stops at a Z height of -.125", essentially making nice swirlies on the part face without cutting.. Both operations have the same faces, etc.. I've tried several combinations of roughing/finish operations, all with the same result. Can anyone explain how to create a separate finish pass? Many thanks.. Steve |
