| I must be either brave or crazy, but I just upgraded to SC2007 (I usually wait a while for a new version of anything to settle down) and first impressions are really good. Stability seems to be improved, workpiece definition is better, and the simulator is very impressive. The learning curve does not seem to be too bad, but I am only a couple of hours into the program. As far as being a more pollished application, I am now able to run it in a parallels virtual machine on my macbook pro with no video wonkiness like version 4 had running on a VM. So far so good, I am going to play with it more this weekend and try to make some chips with the code coming out of it. |
