OK: Scratch my last statement about figuring out how to use the Chamfering tool.
I thought I had figured it out but, I tried to run a test sample of the part in question with the last operation being the Chamfer. When I pressed the "Start" button my mill did nothing; absolutely nothing. I used the same G-Code to run these same parts plenty of times before, but after adding the Chamfering tool path all my mill did was scroll down the G-Code lines to that Chamfering tool to highlight it and that's were it stuck. It wouldn't go any further.
Those of you who use Mach-III; the window on the right that displays the tool paths wouldn't display any tool paths. In the simulation I ran which included this same Chamfering tool path everything look good but that same G-Code displayed in Mach-III just wouldn't run. So, I removed the Chamfering operation from the G-Code and everything started working again. I ran the parts without the Chamfering Operation just so that this morning wasn't a total waste of time.
One of the reasons for wanting to utilize the Chamfering operation was so that I didn't had to do any post-machining work.
Do any of you guys have any idea what may be going on here? I really thought I had figured this darn thing out. Obviously I have not.
