    Default model update notice

SC10 automatically detects a linked CAD model change/update and requests a prompt, but will not accept an input to check one, all or none; only ignore and close are accepted.
And it still does not update. You must select each individual part, one at a time, and update from the model tab.
Also, the reload question needs a YES or NO input button. Is this a bug?

Hello. Could you please write the exact name of the CAD program and it's version? As for Alibre there's an Addin from 12 version only. So, that can happen because of the earlier version of it. If the connection between the CAD program and SprutCAM is done, there should be green points instead of red ones. In your case, it means that there's no connection between the programs.

Also, please, check out, if the option is enabled in Addin Manager.

The CAD program is Geomagic Design/Alibre 2014 (latest) and the SC Addin Manager is enabled for Alibre.
First problem is that SC10 addin manager incorrectly imports the Alibre model in SC as cm units and asks to convert to inch units (the Alibre model is in inch units).

The addin is operational in Alibre and a link is established between CAD and SC, but if this link is broken because the file name has changed or the file moved, the link can not re reestablished.
Also, the command to "set the file path" is functional, but any updates to the CAD model are not in scale (see first problem) and unusable in SC10.

There's no direct import from Alibre (GeomagicDesign) to SprutCAM.
The linkage with SprutCAM is carried out by IGES format:
By the clicking on toolbar the model from GeomagicDesign exports in IGES. After that this IGES loads to SprutCAM. The update is going by the same way, the difference is that firstly file uploads in GeomagicDesign then exports in IGES and after in SprutCAM.

As the format is IGES, then the recording is done by the settings of your CAD program, on wich toolbar can not make any affect (File->System Option->Interoperability->IGES->Represent model in:

In your case, even if the model is built in inches, then when exporting to IGES, all sizes are converted to millimeters (by the default).
