Correct Post for HAAS mini mill?

Does anyone have the correct sprutcam post for a HAAS Mini Mill? I have tried a bunch of the posts provided on the Sprut website, but I can't get any of them to work right.

I have two main problems. the first is that I get an alarm #304 (invalid I, J, or K in G02 or G03. Check your geometry. Radius at start must match radius at end of arc within .001 inch.

The error happens on the first tool (waterline roughing) but it happens at different points with each post processor I try.


The other error, is that cutter radius compensation never turns on no matter what I try.


Anybody have any ideas?

I was having the same problem you described yesterday and found the following thread. By changing the number of significant digits Sprutcam uses internally, I was able to fix the problem.

I also found that the HAAS_VF2.spp postprocessor work fairly well on my TM-1. I would suspect it would likely work on your Mini Mill as well. The only modification I have to make the files this post generates is to add the five digit program number in the first line, and put the program name in parentheses.
