I just sent a note to Tormach on my SC crashing, just so they would have a record of it. Access violations are hard to track down sometimes, even for the software supplier. That being said, after my errors, which were again after unattended use of the computer. I noticed something odd. My SC Dongle light is generally on all of the time while the computer is on. I wanted to watch a video on Youtube so I went to plug in my headsets and realized my SC Dongle light was off. It came back on as soon as I plugged in another device. Just curious if anyone else getting access errors also uses the dongle? |

| Yes I have seen the videos, have not helped much. I don't use a screen saver on my machine, no one around ![]() However after posting that, I got a USB device failure, the system said a device had stopped working. The only device not listed was the HASP dongle used by SC.. so I am suspecting it was the problem as it was not lite up either. Who knows, may be onto something here if it happens again... |

That fixed a problem I was having with something else. Perhaps your system sees the port as idle and shuts down, causing your problem. |
