There's probably an obvious answer to this but is there a simple way to determine the size of a work piece without having to resort to using the measuring tool? e.g. if I have a complex part and add stocks to it, is there somewhere that will give the X,Y,Z size of the resultant work piece? | Christian, the best way that I have found to do this, is to use the 2D Geometry function. Turn the geometry model off, and then choose a line or a point. Then click on the corner of your workpiece and read the values in the axis dro on the left of the screen. I know this isn't ideal, however it is the best way that I have found. |

| Christian, This might be what you're looking for: 1) Go to the Model tab and select your part or workpiece or whatever. 2) There is a little-noticed toolbar just below the main toolbar in the upper left-hand corner. The third icon from the left is the "set properties of the selected objects". Click this icon and it will give you the min, max and size along the three axes of the object you selected. Hope this helps, Terry |
