SprutCam 7.1.1 Release

Hi Gang,

I just noticed a new version of SC 7.1.1 on their website. I am in the process of downloading it so no idea on the good or bad.

Hi Saabaero,

Looks to be lots of work on the coordinate system, 5 axis support (some of use are just starting the 4th axis, I can't keep up!), defining axis approach sequence, tool point control, etc.... If you go the SC website and click on the download link a page will pop up with several files listed. One of the files is a nice pdf explaining many of the changes.

At this time I would not recommend upgrading to the newest version, there are problems with opening projects that were created in previous versions. I will post when the issues are corrected.

I can only get it to output arcs in XY plane with the new version - I have the proper checkboxes ticked.
Could just be me though; I have only tried it with one new project (dont have time to play around with non paying jobs to make sure, I can live with short linear moves for a one off).

Any word on your post above, its been a month. Im mostly interested in stable rotary machining operations
