HY VFD sparks and wont turn on... replacement?

Hi Folks I went to turn on my HY 2.2kw VFD this morning and it threw sparks out the bottom and wont turn on, I am assuming it is blown but open to other ideas (help!)

If were were sparks, it's likely fried. You can open it up and see if you can see what cooked. If you are capable with a soldering gun you may be able to replace a bad part but it's unlikely. Also the problem modern electronic devices have chips that go when something else blows. It would likely cost more to repair at a shop than a new one would cost. I looked at a couple photos of the insides and didn't see a fuse or fusible link. Open it up and look, maybe it was just a power wire that came loose and shorted to ground. Good luck!
