    Default Huanyang bypass internal Potentiometer

So I am trying to control my VFD from an external source. Turns out the settings are the same for using the onboard potentiometer. is there a way to bypass the pot without tearing it open and removing it? I know there have been many threads about this VFD and I have been looking for hours and still have no idea what I am doing...

    thanks in advance

that sets to external control which you would think would be the right choice... but thats what said potentiometer seems to run off..

Maybe someone else has the answer, that's the only thing I saw in the manual that made sense.

It depends on what the source is.
You need to change both PD001 and PD002.
And there's a jumper J1 that needs to be moved.

You would have no need to remove the onboard potentiometer, you are lucky that you have one, it will not interfere with the external control, make sure PD077=0

Thank you so much! I thought I had looked for jumpers but after reading your message I almost immediately found it! It now works perfectly! Thank you!
