    Default Reyann Cheap Chinese VFD

So I've come across the Reyann brand of VFD on Aliexpress, on the face of it they look good and have great reviews. I'm just curious if anyone on here has any experience with these?

There isn't a ton of information out there on these VFDs, they're a little more expensive than the Huanyang VFDs but supposedly have more features too such as Sensor-less Vector Control.

    Currently $117

It only has a 10A rating, which is not enough for a 2.2Kw spindle, you want a VFD Drive to have at least 13A to 15A rating for a 2.2KW spindle, higher the better, for single phase use

So the 2.2kW Chinese spindles need a 3kW VFD?

Just depends on the quality of the VFD Drive, 1hp to 2Hp more then the motor being used, is a good general rule, to stick too, this is not just for Chinese Spindles, it's for any AC 3phase motors that you want to run with a VFD Drive, on Single Phase
