    Unhappy hy02d223b E.ov.A

    Hi everyone,

I have been building my home-made CNC machine for some time. I own an hy02d223b VFD and a GDZ-80-2.2B spindle (220V, 2.2kW, 400 Hz, 24000 rpm). To make it short, I installed the spindle and set up the VFD last year. It worked fine (just testing the setting and such). The VFD even worked with the 10 Volts input for controlling rpm and RUN button. Everything was fine, or so I thought.

After letting the CNC aside for a few months, I retaked it again a couple of weeks ago. The problem is that, now, the VFD is giving me the error E.ov.A (Error: Over Voltage at Acceleration) over and over again. The spindle seems to try to rotate when the RUN button is pushed, but it stops and the error shows.

    I used the factory default (PD013=8) then setted the PD005, PD004 = 400. Verified PD008 = 220. The PD141, PD142, PD143 and PD144 were set to the spindle specifications

    Thanks for the help

You need to have all the Parameters set in the list that has been posted, they are a copy of what I normally post. PD003 PD004 PD005 all need to be 400

Things to check input wiring R and T Plus Ground should be how you have the VFD wired to your main 220v/240v supply

U V W Plus Ground wiring also is important to use the correct shielded cable

Check the Spindle Ground, most are not connected an have to be corrected
