Looking for sources of a spindle for my router - 2.2kw ER20 collet

Good morning all,

I am building a new CNC router. I have been down the path of using off-the-shelf routers (too noisey), building my own spindles (not enough accuracy), etc.

Looking around here, it seems the ideal way to go is a proper spindle with a VFD.

As I plan to use 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" shank tools, the collet will need to be an ER20 size. 2.2kW should be enough power to handle cutting most materials I am planning to working (wood, plastics, etc.). I would like to go for air cooled as opposed to water cooled just to keep things simple. I won't be using the machine for production, in fact if I use it once a month it would be a lot.

I found this one on E-Bay and so far that is the only one I have found..

One of my major concerns with a VFD, is obtaining / determining the parameters to set for the spindle motor - seems like there is some "issues" that others have had in that regard.

It appears to fit my needs, but sure would like to see some other options so if you folks have some recomendations or links to suppliers I sure would appreciate it.

There are quite a few different sellers of those spindles on Ebay, but I'm not sure how many Spindle-VFD packages there are. I bought my spindles from Ratt Motor and my VFD from Solar Jean.
The VFD settings were pretty straight forward, and can be found in the big Huanyang thread here.
