    Default Setup for HY02d223b VFD for 2,2 kw Spindle

    HI

    Hope there is someone who can help me.
    Have read many different settings of HY02d223b VFD two 2.2 kw Spindle.
    Sending image with the spindle, do not know which brand it is.
    Hope there is someone who can write what settings I should choose to manage it all from HY02d223b VFD.
    What should I write in PD008 ??? In denmark we have 230 V 50 Hz?

    I want to run from 100 to 24,000 rpm. The low rpm is to use a centerfix

    For a starter you spindle can only run form 6,000RPM to 24,000RPM it can not be run below 6,000

    The first thing you have to check it the Spindle Ground/Connection the 4th pin on most are not connected in side, this has to be corrected before you power up the spindle

    Here are the Parameters to set, they have to be set as below or damage can happen to the VFD drive and Spindle

    Huanyang Mactec54

    PD000=0 for Parameter unlock ( 1 ) for Parameter Lock

    PD001=0 (1 For Remote Control)

    PD002=0 ( 1 For 0-10v Terminal Control or Remote Trim Pot Control )
    ( J1 Also Needs to be set for Terminal Control )

    PD003=400

    PD004=400

    PD005=400

    PD007=20

    PD008=220 (Motor Rated Voltage, If you have 120v spindle then set to 120v )

    PD009=15

    PD010=8

    PD011=120 ( 100 Minimum Setting with Quality VFD, 120 is Safe)

    PD13= 08 is for Factory reset, Only use this to set VFD to Factory Default Settings

    PD014 Acceleration=12 ( Adjust to suit)

    PD015 Deceleration=12 (Adjust to suit)

    ( PD15 is ignored IF PD26=1 Then the Spindle will Coast to a Stop)

    PD141=220 ( Motor Rated Voltage ) (120 for VFD Rated for 120v )

    PD142= ( Motor Max Amps)

    PD142=( 220vSet for your motor Amp Rating 2.2Kw Spindle 9 amp )

    PD142=( 220VSet for your motor Amp Rating 1.5Kw Spindle 7 amp )

    PD142=( 220v Set for your motor Amps Rating 800w Spindle 4 amps )

    PD142=( 120v Set for your motor Amp Rating 800w Spindle 7 amp )

    PD143=2 ( Motor Number of Poles)

    PD144=3000 (Max Motor RPM) =3,000= (24,000)

    PD70=0 ( This may need to be set to 1 if Control Voltage is 0-5v )

    PD72=400

    PD73=120 ( 100 Minimum Setting )

    Hi

    1000 thanks
    The product just what I wanted THANKS

    Just 2 questions
    In PD008 will you write 220 ?? In denmark we have 230 V 50 Hz?
    I know there are only three head in my cable to the motor, it is not okay if there are frames in the entire machine?
    What happens if I try to run 200 rpm ??? only due to the use of centerfix

    You use what you motor Voltage is, which is 220v the VFD controls the Voltage/ Frequency amps and many other things, it has nothing to do with what your country voltage is, it's all about your spindle motor

    If you run it at 200RPM you will smoke it, they will run this slow, but won't last very long, for using a center finder, they run at 800 RPM, with a laser you don't need to run your spindle

    You can not run this without a 4 wire cable the 4th wire being Ground/Earth wire

    It does not matter what your country Frequency is 50Hz, this has nothing to do with your spindle motor it is 400Hz and has to be set as such

    Hi
    Now I have purchased the correct cable and made spindle on as the 4 pin is grounded.
    Where I mount screen that is around the cable ??

    Depending on your spindle plug, if the body is metal and is also Grounded to your spindle, you can fold the screen/shield up over the outer and it can be clamped with the cable restraint, the other end depending on your VFD you clamp the shield to Ground as per photo, the photo is not the same as what your plug would be but this give you and ides of what to do

    Do you have a source for those clamps?

    Thank you, everything works 100% in the first trials, it is.

    Can I make so that it starts up at 8000 rpm hvar time ??
    Would like hot spindle up slightly before 24,000 rpm.
    Thinking it might be PD027 Start frequency ??

    There is no Parameter to do this, if you have cnc control, in MDI just M3S8000 and let it run for how ever long you want it to

    If not auto set the Frequency to 120Hz from the key pad with the up/down arrows or pot

    All of these spindles are 2 Pole, they can never be set as a 4 pole

    I got a new VFD HY02D223B and attached a 2.2kw water-cooled 400Hz engine. I set the parameters as written above only
    I set Pd 02 to 1 because I want to control the plants with a potentiometer that is built in. However, with a potentiometer, I can set up only 7200 to 15600 turns. What parameters should I set with the potentiometer to set the speed from minimum to maximum?

    PD011=100 this is you minimum speed 6,000 RPM, PD011 and PD73 set at 120 is the useable RPM that you are getting now 7200 RPM below this number your spindle will have low torque so can only do light cuts at 6,000 RPM

    PD73=100

    PD72=400

    Check these Parameters

    PD003=400

    PD004=400

    PD005=400

    If you have to use PD002=1 then check the Jumper is set correct

    Maybe you did not understand me. With the built-in potentiometer I would like to regulate the speed of 7000 to 24000 turns. But I can only regulate from 7200 to 15600 turns. If Pd002 is set to 0 then I get 24000 turns. I have jumper correctly set pin 2 and pin3 connected.
    * It is possible to set the parameters so that the display only displays the engine's motions and not the frequency. On my older VFD Askpower A131, did I have the set parameters for the display to show only the engine turns, and with the keys ˄ or ˅ I changed the spindle speed?

    I understood what you where doing, or want to do

    Do the up down arrows work for speed control

    Try some of the other settings for Pot control
