Al,
I think that would do it. But, would it be capable for Ridged Tapping? I run across a lot of discarded treadmills all the time.

Many users pick up a Treadmill Motor for a spindle and end up using either one of the KB SCR controllers or the original controller such as the MC-60 both have some useful features but tend to lack in some that would be useful to have.
I am thinking of putting one together that would feature:
- PWM Control
- Reversible
- Have slow ramp up when power applied.
- Pot Control
- Modbus control
- RPM Display
- Opto Sensor sensor option.
Any other suggestions or features that would be useful?
Al.
