The first CNC router I made, just wasn't accurate enough. I need an accuracy of .005 minimum. I'm looking at a Romaxx HD-1.
I have looked at XCarve, and Shapeoko, and a few others, but the problem is when the z axis is lowered, there seems to be
some reflection (deflection), and the router and z axis tend to be not stiff enough for accurate depth engraving and routing.
I will be engraving aluminum, pewter, sterling, and some gold. I will then be routing wood, and some aluminum.

If I thought I could be assured of an accuracy between .002 and .005, I would build my own again.
