Solid Bodies in Solidworks

Hi,

I've built an object made up of different profiles using Extruded Boss/Base and Extruded Cut. I don't see the object as a single Solid Body, but made up of the separate extrudes and Extruded cut...

Is there any way of turning all the solid object I've made and turning it into a single solid body, or is that not necessary if I'm to go into CAM with it?

Yes
You can save it as a parasolid.
If it is to be all one body, you need to make sure that "merge results" is checked in the feature dialogue on creation.
You could also go back and edit all your multi-body features.

Or, use the "combine", add" command. It joins intersecting bodies.
