I have been trying to create a spring shape with the use of the composite curves feature. Every time I try this I get this erroe message " Unable to make composite curves with disjointed curves " I am unable to Down Load A SLDPRT file here so I will e-Mail file to any one willing to help. If anyone could look at this and tell me what or where I am going wrong it would be greatley appreciated. You can contact me here or directley by e-mail which ever may be esiest Thanks Brad |

| Hello all!!! I use a sweep for this function. You first create a helix with the attributes you want you spring to have. You then drae a circle at one end of the helix the diameter of the material. Then just use a sweep. The profile would be the circle, and the helix would be the path. I produce threads the same way, using a thread profile instead of a circle. Hope this helps!!!! |
