Driveworks and Custom Properties

Does anyone know if Driveworks (Xpress) can set "Configuration Specific" properties rather than just the standard "Custom Properties" properties?
We use a list of Configuration Specific properties all the time as many of our parts have multiple configurations.
From what I can see Driveworks only seems to allow access to Custom Properties.

Just been informed that the Express version can not write to Configuration Specific properties... bummer.
