Are you talking covert it as a 3D file for autocad? I know that Solidworks won't save dxf/dwg as 3d.. what file types can you open? Stl, Iges [IGS], Parasolid etc?
There will be one of them that crosses over I'm sure..

.sat is all AutoCAD will let you bring in.

ok gents thank very much for help , i found another better way to convert to auto cad a 3d solid model through master cam 9.1 i bring from sw2007 to mc9.1 as step file, the i save from mc9.1 as auto desk file , then i can easly open in auto cad as a 3d solid
