    Kurt Vise D-series 3d solids

    Does anyone have the kurt d-series vise in a solid that I can get to work in gibbs cam. I need the solid for a simulation. Please help?????

    Did you look on the Kurt web site? They have some of their stuff in solid.

    Yes I did but the d-series thay only have in dxf-2d, .prt which my solidworks wont read and .x_t which solidworks doesnt recognize. I thought someone may have drawn this up already and could e-mail me the solid model.

    .x_t is parasolid which SolidWorks DOES read.. I've done it many times.. you guys got a link to the file at Kurt's site? I'd like to take a stab at converting it..

    Had no problems opening the x_t files.. the PRT files seem to just be dxf imports..which are essentially useless w/out more data..
    The SAT files also work just as well..

    You have to open Solidworks and then open the file.. double clicking the file from explorer or an open folder doesn't always attempt to open the file in Solidworks.

    The x_t conversion is attached..
