Hello all, I see many of wise people around , congratulations ! I have a simple question : how to make angled bore like in screenshot ? The center of the bore is in center of the pocket. Thanks Peter |

| 4th axis or angle plate interpolate a flat then drill and bore or interpolate the hole if your using a boring head and there is a tight tolerance on the bore and positioning , interpolate the start of the bore and leave only a few tenths for cleanup , if you dont you will probably have a messed up bore , it will end up out of round or worse , boring heads dont like interupted cuts

| You can either make a construction sketch that has an angled line to extrude your cut along OR you can make a reference plane that is set at the correct angle.

| i would put the bore in first so you wont have an interrupted cut at the top of the bore fixture at the angle required then mill a flat normal to the bore at least as large as the bore then drill or interpolate the bore leaving a wall tolerance then finish with a reamer or boring head then reposition the part to put the counter bore in |

| Look at the attachment. I run 2005 so if you've got that year or newer, you should be able to open it. Edit: Added another way to do it which may be easier for you to get the hole centered in the counterbore. It's a revolved cut. |

| Stupid of me to forget the revolve. especially considering that is my usual way of this type of feature. I guess I will claim too much beer consumed after hockey as my excuse.
