Help for CNC machine design

Hi i just finished my cnc machine in solidworks. I am fairly new solidworks user (couple days actually :P) and i need to give the plans for laser cutting. How can i do this? I excpect the laser cutters to accept a common file format like dxf, so is it possible to get something like this from solidworks?

Make .sldrw files of the parts to be lasered and save them as DXF (version 2000).
